The Piton is a result of Skilogik’s quest to make a backcountry specific design that sheds weight without sacrificing performance. The solid wood core is matched with two layers of quadraxial carbon fiber to provide the outstanding torsional rigidity that Skilogik’s widest skis have become known for.  The Piton’s innovative TrailBreaker Tip makes for easy ascents in deep snow, allowing you the freedom to get in more powder skiing. The tail is slightly upturned to back out of tight spots in couloirs and has a machined aluminum  tail bumper with a skin notch. Bomber, powerful and ready for all snow conditions, the Piton is the choice for backcountry adventures.
